| 1 | Bishkek - Issyk kul |
Arrival to Bishkek. After a short stop in a hotel for some refreshments departure by minibus for lake Issyk-Kul. Lunch in café near Konorchok canyons, after lunch hike in the canyons for a couple hours. Then on to Bokonbaevo at the south side of Lake Issyk-Kul. Stay in good B&B. Upon request you could choose to stay in a yurt, this is also possible. We have a nice yurt camp at the shore of the lake. But in this yurt camp sanitary facilities are rather basic, just keep in mind of this. | |
| 2 | Kyzyl-Tuu - Kochkor - Altyn-Kol |
First visit a man who hunts with golden eagles, he will show his birds and tell about his work. Next to Kyzyl-Tuu , the village famous for the making of yurt frames and yurt decorations. Here you can visit a family that will show how they do this. Lunch with this family. After lunch continue to Kochkor, center of felt making. If you are interested we can organize a demonstration felt making in a nearby village. Visit of Altyn-Kol , cooperative shop in Kochkor where felt products of surrounding villages are shown and can be bought, Stay in B&B. |

| 3 | Son-Kul lake – Ala Archa National Park | To Son-Kul lake at 3100 m. It takes a few hours to drive up there over the Kalmak–Ashuu pass, arrival around lunch time, lunch in a yurt. There are no hotels here, so either you could stay in a yurt (again simple sanitary) or could leave that same day again. In that case there is not much time for you to do any hiking or horse-riding. If you stay in Son-Kul, it is possible to rent horses and do some horse-riding or hike in the surrounding mountains. (If no stay in Son-Kul, descend to Chaek of Kyzyl–Oi that same day. A visit of Alal Archa National Park can be done on the day left over). | |
| 4 | Son-Kul-Susamir village | If stayed in Son-Kul: descend over the Kara-Kech pass to the Suusamyr valley. A beautiful area but over a rather bad road, so the speed will be low. Stay in B&B in Kyzel-Oi, a nice village on the Kökomeren river. | |
| 5 | Kojomkul - Bishkek | First to Kojamkul, visit the small museum and then through the Tor-Ashuu tunnel of 2 1/2 km, descend to to Kara Balta and from there to Bishkek. Stay in hotel Umai close to the centre Farewell dinner. | |
| 6 | Bishkek | Transfer to the airport and departure. | |
